Beef Marinade

Few things are as disappointing as eagerly anticipating a delicious, tender, juicy steak, only to be let down by a bland, tough piece of meat that's difficult to chew.

The cost of a good steak is nearly unaffordable for many, and the last thing you want is for it to be terrible and inedible.

I have used this beef marinade on everything from t-bone to cube steak.

Once, we were hosting guests for dinner, and I realized I didn't have steak in the freezer. So, I improvised by slicing a beef roast into 1-inch pieces to serve as steak. I used this marinade, and our guests couldn't stop praising how tender and flavorful the "steak" was. I didn't have the heart to reveal they were actually enjoying grilled roast.

This recipe has never let me down. I know there are millions of recipes on the internet for marinade, I also know that this one is tried and true.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of Balsamic Vinegar

1/4 cup of Soy Sauce

3 tablespoons of minced garlic

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder.

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl or cup. Stir thoroughly to blend them together.

Place the steak in a zipper seal bag and pour the marinade over the steak.

Seal the bag and place in the fridge. Let the meat soak in the marinade for at least an hour, but not longer than 24 hours.

Remove the steak from the marinade and cook per your normal method.
