Counter Top Plastic Bag Stand

How often have you attempted to fill a plastic bag with leftover sauce, soup, or any liquid without an extra pair of hands to hold the bag or pour the contents? This happens quite often for me.

My husband actually shared this tip with me, and I am extremely grateful for it.

This approach has saved me a lot of frustration and time, and I no longer have to deal with the messes I used to clean up.

This handy gadget is called a "Canning Jar Lifter". I have seen them at Walmart for a minimal price. You can also find them on Amazon.

Open the jar lifter and put the flat or straight side down on the counter.

Open your plastic bag and put it in the middle of the grabber, turn the top of the bag over the sides of the lifter. This is what holds the bag.

Pour your contents into the bag

Seal your bag

Ready for the freezer and no mess to clean up.
