Anti-Stress Essential Oil Blend

It seems like we are always multitasking, doing more "stuff" daily, and feeling like there is always more to do. Stress from work, school, and a social life can add up, and sometimes we forget to just take a breath and de-stress. I have found now that I am older, certain smells can impact your mood. Here is an essential oil blend that may help you relax at the end of the day.

Tools Needed:

10mm Glass Roll-On Bottles with Steel Roller Balls (preferably amber or cobalt blue)

Essential Oils


Ingredients:

Lavender Essential Oil: 10 drops (calming, reduces stress)

Frankincense Essential Oil: 8 drops (grounding, promotes inner peace)

Vetiver Essential Oil: 6 drops (deeply relaxing, stabilizes emotions)

Sweet Orange Essential Oil: 4 drops (uplifting, reduces tension)

Carrier Oil: Fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, or sweet almond oil (to fill the 10ml bottle)


Instructions:

Add the essential oil drops to an empty 10ml roller ball bottle.

Fill the rest of the bottle with your chosen carrier oil, leaving a small space at the top for the roller ball to fit securely.

Secure the roller ball top and cap, then gently shake to mix thoroughly.

Label the bottle with the blend name and date.


Usage:

Apply to pulse points (wrists, neck, temples) or behind ears.

Use 1-2 times daily or during stressful moments.

Inhale deeply after applying for added aromatherapy benefits.


Dilution Notes:

This blend provides approximately a 2% dilution (28 drops in 10ml), suitable for most adults.

For sensitive skin, reduce to 14-18 drops total (1% dilution).


Safety Tips:

Do not apply undiluted oils to the skin or ingest them.

Avoid sun exposure for 12-24 hours after applying sweet orange (photosensitive oil).

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Consult a doctor if pregnant, nursing, or on medication.

Perform a patch test to check for sensitivity.
