Fall Decorating Idea

I have a "nook" between the cupboards in my dining room that I fill with seasonal decor. Whether it's a miniature Christmas village or an Easter basket with spring flowers, this area gets changed out quite often.
Since fall will be here soon, this is what I have decided to do for this season.

This is a placemat that I purchased from Walmart on clearance last year. It has a rubber backing on it, which is nice because it does not wrinkle.

I used t-pins to attach it to the wall, then hung the wooden "hello fall" cutout with two more pins.

I used a piece of orange fabric for a placemat

I folded the edges over and ironed them in place using starch. I didn't sew it because I will use this fabric in another project when fall is over.

I took a plastic tray and fall florals with acorns from the Dollar Tree and hot-glued them together.

Placed the tray on top of the ironed fabric, took foam pumpkins and fall signage from the Dollar Tree to complete the space, making an inexpensive and festive look for my nook.
