Fun Snowman Candy Jar

I'm not sure about you, but I absolutely adore a cute snowman. My friend sent me a picture of an adorable "Dollar Tree" snowman and dared me to make one myself. I dedicated an entire Saturday going from store to store to gather all the necessary parts. I managed to find most of them at the Dollar Tree, but the mittens and hat were nowhere to be found.
This is a simple project that is almost self-directed. Some hot glue, E6000 glue, and you are ready to build a snowman.

Here is a list of the supplies:
Glass jar with a screw on lid
Large plastic round ornament
Skate ornaments or bootie ornaments
Ribbon
Felt for the hat and mittens (or a craft store hat and mittens)
White acrylic paint
E6000 glue
Hot glue /glue gun
Stickers for the face (I used my Silhouette to cut them out)
Miscellaneous plastic candy decorations and embellishments
Glass candle plate

How to put it all together:
Pour some of the acrylic paint into the plastic ornament, and swirl it around until the inside of the ornament is completely covered. Let this dry for several hours. If you have too much extra paint in the ornament, pour it out so it will dry faster.
Then, attach the plastic ornament to the screw-on lid of the glass jar using glue. I applied both E6000 and hot glue. Allow the hot glue to set and harden.
Using the same process, glue the glass jar to the glass candle plate, then add the skates, mittens and buttons to the glass jar, still using both the E6000 and hot glue.

Place the lid (with the head) on the jar and screw it tightly so you can identify where to attach the face. Attach a piece of ribbon to the lid using glue (ensure it's not glued to the jar, as the lid needs to be removable).

Now add the decals for the face. If you are not able to cut the face out, and you can paint, do that, or glue wiggly eyes, or whatever you have to make the face.

Next, add the nose.

Hot glue the hat on (I made this hat with a floral pick from the Dollar Tree and some felt)

Fill his belly with candy, or whatever you want.

Notes:
You can see from the first photo that I didn't use many of the supplies for this snowman. I have a few others I am going to attempt to make. When I get them finished I will add them to this post.
This specific project only has 5 items purchased at the Dollar Tree, (the skates, candle plate, glass jar, floral pick, and plastic ornament.), That cost is $6.25 ($1.25 each). I had the felt to make the hat and mittens, and I had the ribbon
