Fall Table Runner

Updated: Sep 9, 2025

It's that time of year again, time to change out the decorations and table runner from summer to fall.

I love to craft and create, so much so, I would be willing to bet that most everyone I know has probably been gifted one thing or another.

I have spent some time this past week creating a new table runner for fall. I will add a link for the pattern at the bottom of this page.

I have only been "quilting" for a very short time, I learned by watching You Tube videos by a lady named Donna Jordan of Jordan Fabrics. Sadly, Mrs. Jordan has passed on, but her videos are still available (as of this posting) and they are a great tool if you want to learn. Mrs. Jordan had such an amazing talent for quilting and for showing you how. She took all the fear and intimidation out of the learning process.

This was a fun, quick project. Making table runners can be inexpensive. When I started to quilt, I purchased fabric from Walmart and Amazon. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on expensive fabric until I knew quilting was something that I would enjoy and want to really get into.

I would encourage you, if you want to start quilting, thrift your fabrics. When I was a kid, I remember my mom and grandma would cut up their old polyester pant suits, yes, those ones from the 60's and 70's. It worked, and they made some beautiful quilts.

Here is the link for the free pattern for this table runner and other free patterns from Donna Jordan. I have also included the link for Jordan Fabrics. Check them out if you are interested.
